National Evaluation of Higher Education Students' Satisfaction

This nation-wide study financed by the Foundation for Science and Technology (2004-2008) has attempted to identify students’ perceptions concerning importance and expectations regarding major aspects of their higher education experience. A questionnaire was administered to about 11,000 undergraduate students throughout Portugal. It gathered responses with respect to level of satisfaction and importance of key issues. These findings are expected to serve as the basis for recommendations and strategies HEIs can consider in order to create a stronger and more relevant relationship with students.
