Award Significant Research on International Higher Education

The book "Universities in the Knowledge Society: The Nexus of National Systems of Innovation and Higher Education" (edited by Timo Aarrevaara, Martin Finkelstein, Glen  A. Jones, and Jisun Jung), which contains the chapters "The Transformation of  Universities in  Response to the Imperatives of a Knowledge Society", authored by CIPES researcher Teresa Carvalho, and "A Portuguese Tale on  Knowledge-Based Society: Narrowing Bonds Between Higher Education and  the Innovation System", also authored by Teresa Carvalho, and Sara Diogo and Rui Santiago, also from CIPES, received the award for Significant Research on International Higher Education do ASHE Council  for International Higher Education.
