CIPES received FCT funding for the next three years to carry out the Know-Best project: Partnerships in Knowledge production: Beliefs, Strategies and Tensions.
The project (No. 29427 FCT) aims to assess the impact of the European Union's policies on Science, Technology and Innovation in Portugal. It aims to analyze whether institutions and academics have changed their beliefs and behaviors according to new political narratives (based on a comparative study of 25 countries). Using a case study approach, based on the Health Cluster Portugal (HCP), the project intends to evaluate how institutions and actors with different institutional logics define strategies to work together and overcome potential tensions in the coproduction, transfer and commercialization of knowledge.
